Home Ownership levels dramatically fall – ESRI

  1. This is one of the most succinct appraisals of the housing crisis I have ever heard.

Fianna Fail and Fine Gael took an ideological position that housing in Ireland was to be left to the market. “Star performers for the speculative market,” as the President said.

On NewsTalk yesterday Leo was talking about “how the cake is made,” in Ireland, in reference to our competitiveness and attractiveness to FDI etc

‘How the cake is made,’ is that we open the door of our country to faceless investment funds, that pay no tax here and feed off generations of Irish men and women to pay the pensions of doctors and firefighters in America, Canada and Germany.

    We are a figurative ATM

  2. Can’t stand the sound of her authoritative sounding meritless void, are they worried that other people without homes might affect real actual people they care about and possibly their money?
