EU need to make a stance here, they criticize and fight Lukashenko or Putin and here in Serbia they support the same kind of government that is oppressing people and abusing its power.
Serbs protest against Vucic regime because he’s destroyed Serbia to the bone. Because he told they (Serbs) will kill 100muslims for every dead Serb. Because he was above seiged Sarajevo with a sniper. Because he started his career in Serbian Radical Party alongside a war criminal. Because till this day he denies court decisions on Srebrenica genocide and operation Storm. Because till this day he doesn’t want to open army archives and let families from Croatia, Kosovo and Bosnia know where are the mass graves their loved ones were thrown in. Serbs don’t mind Vucic when he organises proserb takeover of Montenegro or when he raises army to Kosovo border. Serbs don’t mind the fascist politics Vucic does in Bosnia. No, Serbs mind Vucic only when it bit them in the ass in their country.

Europe should react urgently because it is a matter of preserving the ecosystem of our entire continent. Larger and smaller rivers that will be connected to the river into which the toxins will be discharged are connected throughout whole Europe and all harmful and toxic substances will end up in our cities, houses, fountains, food, etc. This is no longer a question of Serbia, this is a question of Europe, European values and their defense.

I can see why the Serbians are freaked out. In other places, you’re dealing with remote areas & indigenous populations, that are easily dismissed politically & environmentally. Whatever is being planned in Serbia, would not be so remote or excusable.
