You’re part of a corrupt government who partied while everyone else was isolating as their families died. There’s yet to be any form of apology for that, so yes you’re going to get abused. But if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen
Well the baying mob obviously thought you were incapable of the job, and you proved them right.
Excellent, no need for changes in legislation or expensive police tactics….. All you need to control a ‘baying mob’ is to give it the finger… As you walk away, back behind iron gates, fence and police, back to your ivory tower.
Nothing de-escalates a situation quicker. Brave brave woman, those words aimed at her? could have broken bones.
How dare they mock this champion of freeze peach, how dare they point out her double standards, don’t they know who she is?
Don’t they know their place!!!
… A town is missing its entitled Karen, a constituency it’s clown as a nation welcomes its new education minister.
> After receiving huge amounts of abuse from some of the people who were there over the years, and I have also had seven death threats in the last 4 years. Two of which have been in recent weeks and are currently being investigated by the police, I had reached the end of my tether.
> I responded and stood up for myself. Just why should anyone have to put up with this sort of treatment.
Concerning number of grammatical errors for an education minister
One’s in West Yorkshire the other is in South Gloucestershire, that’s quite a distance. How can they spend an equal amount of time committed to both their constituents, their government roles and their marriage and kids?
What a fantastic roll model for the countries children!
What was she expecting? Cheers and congratulations? Her party have lied, destroyed and embarrassed our country. Unbelievably unprofessional, disrespectful, an absolute joke.
The baying mob that your party has provoked and relief upon for support?
Or the other, bad baying mob.
Have some humility and show the public, whom you work for, that you’ll do a good job and put things right. Prove them wrong.
Or do the typical Tory thing and feel entitled to your position, and see the public as a nuisance.
If she can’t handle a baying mob without breaking down, she has no place in government.
This coming from character witness for a man convicted of threatening Yvette Cooper with a beating by some “crackheads”.
“Boo me?!?! All I want to do is siphon funds from your children’s education to ensure they stay good and ignorant for a further generation or two. It is just plain rude to boo, you animals.”
“The Baying Mob” is what the Torys like to call voter who are not Millionaires,
When they are not calling us The Plebs.
Thing is they aren’t scraping the barrel – this is the contempt they hold for the public on full display.
It’s worth bearing in mind that Boris is quite literally the *worst PM in living memory* and has personally overseen the biggest drop in living standards on record.
But the reason they’re not bearing that in mind is – they don’t give a fuck.
This all is (and always has been) just a game to them – that’s why giving the public the finger is absolutely on message – it literally doesn’t matter to them. Those people are likely there because they’re desperate – they’re engaging with politics in the same way it engages with them – complete disdain.
She gives them the finger because it’s mask-off time now Boris is out – why keep up the pretense of being polite to people you wholeheartedly believe are beneath you?
The Tories are and always have been the problem. If you’re stated political ideology is to move backwards, to defend a fascist ideal of a social “hierarchy”, and to openly support an aristocracy and the Divine Right of Kings, genuinely, what the fuck did you expect?
These people haven’t had to worry about the past 100 years of history because their wealth insulates them from it – that’s why they haven’t read a book since the introduction of democracy.
The fact she responded to the greeting she did get, seems to suggest she expects cap-doffing, respectful applause or bowed heads when she walks by. You are shown the respect you deserve.
Absolutely fuck this piece of shit, she isn’t capable of her role and should be fired immediately
This loon is the education minister. Next time a kid gives the finger to their teacher at school then they can just point a middle finger at this loon minister.
So while she felt entirely safe and comfortable she insulted and mocked the public. That smug face as she does it shows she thinks she’s untouchable.
The baying mob were peaceful protesters. She has no business working for us if she can’t respect the position she holds. Sick of the idiots in that party thinking they’re above us and they have a right to govern.
The voting public is a “baying mob” is it?
Sounds exactly like a tory to me.
We cannot accept this. We’ve seen the video. The crowd was not a baying mob.
Just remember how Gordon Brown got flayed by the media for calling a bigoted woman a bigoted woman.
Absolute bollocks. Baying mob? Mostly middle-aged protesters standing still rather quietly behind a barricade, including a bunch of people holding photos of their relatives who died of covid who were angry at the government’s handling of it.
I’ll also note that it is a complete joke that any MP, let alone an **Education Minister**, should be so fucking illiterate. Her released statement reads like it came out of Google Translate.
Thanks England, for spending several decades allowing and in fact loving the fact that the Tory party is filled with the dregs of society. Then thank you again to England for consistently voting them in.
Really seriously thanks.
Peak Tory.. giving the public the middle finger in your first 10 minutes of your new job as minister for education. The UK is a total joke.

I find it a little weird that since 2015 she has been the MP for [Morley & Outwood](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/6a/EnglandWestYorkshire.svg/120px-EnglandWestYorkshire.svg.png) while her husband has been the MP for [Filton & Bradley Stoke since 2010](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b7/EnglandAvon.svg/120px-EnglandAvon.svg.png).
