Unwillingly visited Karlovac for 2 nights after our car got broken on the way home from vacationing in Croatia and had to stop at a local car mechanic. Can confirm the other commenter, it is a very run-down town that doesn’t have much to offer, BUT! The town has huge and well maintained (unlike the buildings) parks all around the city centre. My dog absolutely loved the parks, I probably haven’t seen anywhere else as much greenery in comparison to the size of the city, as in Karlovac.
