Are there many fans of The Boys fans in Ireland?

  1. You know it was created by someone from Northern Ireland?
And his experiences there gave inspiration for his other comic “preacher”

In answer to your question. Yea it’s class and so is preacher.

  2. It’s getting more insane as the seasons go on, and that’s the best part, every supe is inspired by a well known comic superhero, but there a more egocentric, narcissistic or insane version

  3. Queen Maeve actress is coming to Dublin comic con this year , that’s pretty cool. This show is jaw dropping and I love it.

  4. Fully prepared to be downvoted for saying this but bonfire builders in deprived areas are a symptom, not the main problem. They have absolutely no fucking power. The best image you could’ve picked is Homelander pinned down, waiting for the blast but still squirming.

I grew up nationalist in the north. I’ve watched my mother rinse piss off our windows after an OO parade, remember long detours around togged-out areas during July/August, all that craic. It’s hard not to react when ‘community representatives’ go viral spouting hate or delusion in the media. But please understand what you’re seeing: the poorest people not just in NI but the UK, being egged on by unionist politicians and loyalist ‘activists’ (who are quite happy to keep them poor, angry and isolated from the wider community.) In a UI, how would we break the cycle? What version of this stuff would we tolerate? We can’t just punch down forever. The rest of society has moved on and surely we want better for the next generation.

  5. Absolutely love this show and probably the best anti hero tv show ever . It’s toss up between Butcher and Deep as my favourite character can’t wait till Friday end of season episode;(((

  6. If you want to see more of Antony Starr, track down Outrageous Fortune, one of NZ’s better exports
