It was a work event. Politicians drink at work, it’s a culture thing.
Superb news. Now can people stop posting that grainy photo on twitter please 😂
I don’t have a whole lot of love for Starmer, but this was a ridiculous thing to investigate in the first place. Glad it’s over and done with.
Starmer is in an incredibly strong position now this isn’t hanging over him.
I am looking for many articles in the Daily Heil relating to this news just has it published God knows how many to denounce this so-called “beergate” a few weeks ago to shield the PM.
Gee, what will be the next talking point of why we shouldn’t vote Labour over Tory. Starmer better avoid sandwiches for a few months.
Will this make Johnson fuck off any sooner? Unlikely.
Labour used Honesty & Integrity
It was super effective
And labour have just released a statement regarding Sir Keir being cleared and it reads:
>Aha haha hahaha aaaahahaha suck your mum.
INB4 conspiracy theory surrounding how this was buried so Labour can beat the Tories or some shit.
I don’t know if he has any grounds to sue the various ‘news’ outlets for libel from the coverage of this, but if there are, he should nail the shit rags to the wall.
So much for the “tHeyRe AlL tHe SaMe” mentality lol
I can already predict the complaints on Twitter from @gazgb with flags in his name
Honestly is there a single thing in the last few years Conservatives have gotten so loudly behind that hasn’t turned out to be a complete sham/absolute lie?
At what point do they start to think twice about getting so deeply behind things being passed down to them or, dare we say it, perhaps feel a bit of embarrassment about being constantly wrong?
Inevitable. ‘Sir’ Keir The Dull attending a booze-up / party always did seem to strain credulity. 🙂
Poor Tories and their rabid Press enablers are devastated by this outcome. They are not having a good week. 🙂
Isn’t Angela Rayner in the line of fire as well? I’m glad Starmer is in the clear. Can’t wait to be shot of Tory government.
Coupled with the fact he pledged to resign if he was found guilty makes it a nice point to push about him having integrity and ethics
The last few days have been great. Calls for an extra few Bank Holidays I think
apparently, Starmer is to release a new single in collaboration with a number of well-known drill artists celebrating the fact he got N.F.A
But the man on GB news told me there was an injunction.
He wouldn’t be lying now would he?
He looks like a champ right now after all that. Imagine having a leader that doesn’t break the law, wild times. Next to ol’ bj he looks like Jesus.
1. Find a Sky News Youtube video reporting the Tories doing something terrible or making complete fools of themselves that proves to anyone with a working brain that they need to be voted out.
2. Say “All politicians are corrupt/equally bad” or “Labour are no better” in the comments without elaborating.
3. Sit back and watch the likes pour in.
Johnson is having the week we all wished he’d had. Glorious shit
It took Durham ploice sine May to come to this conclusion? WTF did they do, ruthlessly interrogate everyone involved for days on end?
Plenty of peoppe on BBC comments want guilty until proven innocent and then call him guilty anyway. All along with comments about how Labour have infiltrated Durham police despite not being in power for 12 years.
Normally I’d just roll my eyes but there was enough comments of a similar note that makes me worry that a large potion of our country want a crackpot dictatorship where the person in government decides who’s guilty.
He was Director of Public Prosecutions… he wouldn’t have offered to resign if he wasn’t sure he’d not done something wrong
There’s lots of cynicism around Starmer, and I’m probably guilty of some of that too. But, given our electoral system and the political parties we have, he is the very best choice for future Prime Minister of the UK.
He’s better than any Tory currently vying for leader of their party. And he’s ‘Sir Kier’ because he was knighted for public service already – becoming what is basically the top job for a lawyer in this country. He can do the job.
I’m not going to oversell him, because obviously he’s not perfect. But I’d encourage everyone to vote tactically in their area and, fingers crossed, we can have a Labour led minority government after the next election.
He knew he’d be cleared, that’s why he offered to resign. It was only a small gamble on a sure thing and it makes BoJo look bad..
The political right are taking a bit of a bruising this week aren’t they?
