They’re a bit slow, as usual. I walked into a [popular and rather crowded] café in Limassol this morning and sat there for 30-40 min waiting for a call from a car tire shop, literally nobody had a mask on their face, including the staff.

not the smartest idea in my opinion.

there are still variants popping up all the time and we dont know enough about the long term affects to just drop the facemasks yet. doesn’t make any logical sense. the face mask is not hurting anyone and is only protecting people further.

in a private setting do what you want. its your freedom. but in a public space we should have all the measures in place to protect people whilst there’s a virus going around that’s proven to be very infectious, potentially deadly, and we do not have enough data about to conclude long term effects. that just makes more sense to me.

im pretty sure i have long covid as i haven’t been the same since i contracted it. i have severe memory issues, still get shortness of breath for no reason, and did i mention memory issues?… lol – symptoms are still being discovered for it around the world. theyre even talking about some changes to the brain (scar tissue and other physiological changes) now as a result.
point is we just dont know enough about it yet to drop the protection in my opinion. even if you have had one variant you can still catch another, or the same as previous.
