Terrible use of a nrarow valley. Where are the campuses? Where are the holy sites? Disgraceful. I demand ruthless exploitation of the land to produce the highest numbers.
Jokes aside this is a beautiful picture, thank you for sharing it.
Imagine living with the flod risk
Why does this make me feel like littlfoot in the land before time finally finding the great valley?
It’s in Stryn
The air
If you look at google maps, there’s a little airfield. It looks like the photographer sent a drone straight up from there and snapped the photo facing upstream.
The picture is taken above Olden, and the river you see leads to Oldedalen. Oldedalen is a heaven like place where you can experience true peace and relaxation. I’ve travelled there alot myself.
Hope this helped.
Taken by a drone indeed. I was in that area for 2 weeks last year. Although you will not see this view from the ground, it’s a beautiful area nontheless.
Don’t fly too close to the airport please
You know What they say, a tier in Stryn But a treer in by’n
Good example of river meandering.

You will not see this view without a helicopter.

If you drive over strynsfjellet and switch from the main road to the old road, Gamle strynsfjellsveg, you get a view similar to this.

River to heaven
When you get off the train you will see it aprox where to go from the photo alone. As the top comment says, most likely taken by a drone
