Why is there there the general assumption that because there’s a lake near a pool, the pool would be for sports training and not casual swimming?
I think people need a bit of context. France télévision has a reputation of not being the most funny about they joke when it comes to Sport Events. It’s improving as there is less misogyny. But, these jokes are part of the show and the audience is waiting for them. People will stay the entire afternoon on the couch watching the Tour de France and laugh at them. It’s the France télévision touch.

It’s already hard for overweight people to go out and join sporty activities, and now for some of us it’ll be even harder. Congrats french tv.

Are the diving platforms part of the swimming pool or can you access them freely? (I’ll be visiting the area next week and they look like fun)

You know what is the best on what she said ? It’s true, I live around Montreux and all people on this swimming pool in Villeneuve, maybe 90% are not sportif at all. This like a funny family place where people go to stay, eat and burn…
So, I don’t blame her ;).
