I’m gonna go out on a limb amd with no fact checking at all confidently predict 50-75% outright lies. 25-50% misdirection and bending of the truth and lying by omission.
Is this the definition of shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted
Proven liar lies.
All newspapers should be forced to print (upon exit of position) all outgoing misters claims and the resulting facts of those claims. So there can be no denial of these things.
Shame they weren’t calling it out at the time …..
Boris lying? Well I never.
Pretty much everything that comes out of his mouth is either lies, misinformation or misdirection.
And how much attention did BBC bring to these lies at the time?
Can we have a team of about 12 people live fact checking in parliament? Every time they find something wrong, a klaxon gets set off and the MP is made to apologise and give the true facts/figures.
There’s no time limit for calling the lies out and it doesn’t have to be a klaxon, we could have “Liar, liar, pants on fire” blasted out over a tannoy instead.
Right on BBC, where were you (and your political editors) for the last three years?
*Bullshit Tsunami Detected*
The entire right wing needs fact checking they all ignore science and all the other claims they make. Take the hate on trans people, they all make up shit to support their hate on trans people. Heck even people on this sub ends up believing it despite me and others trying to correct people.
You still see members of the public defending him when asked how they feel about him leaving. Apparently it is OK to lie when you have been given a tough hand like Brexit (he wanted it and got the Brexit he wanted) and COVID (which he chose to ignore and confidently mismanage at every turn). As bad as he was, some people will happily ignore what is staring them in the face if reality is too uncomfortable for them.
