Seems like the sort of person who is going to be very hard to rehabilitate and will likely end up dying in prison. He went out to look for the best place to ambush someone and was seen in the area the following day, possibly looking for a second victim. He could very well have become a serial killer if he was not caught so quickly.

Surely with the way science is now people who are found guilty of crimes like this should actually be the perpetrators.
With all the science available you really would hope the actual accused or found guilty person would be the perpetrator of said crime!
