Let’s not start bashing on all cops. Majority are good,it’s just they are lazy or the laws from politiciens prevent them to act.

That’s what you get if you’re the one who needs to clean up the bad policies of your government.
Also if people don’t respect you, it’s easy to not respect them back.
I mean, is anyone surprised? Why would the police force not consist of normal populations? Far-right is growing as a whole, so it’s pretty logical that within police forces, more people are leaning to far-right ideology too.
There’s very likely also a surge of people with African or Arabic or any ‘non-native’ background joining the police force.
The classic “all police huuurrrrrrrrr are bad duuuurrrrrrrrr” really is getting old, man. A lot of those people put their lives on the line every day to protect you, me, and everyone around us. That’s not to say there’s no bad police, but that’s *everywhere*, in every sector. You practically can’t avoid that. And even then: in Belgium barely any incidents happen.
