“Concrete Desert” Poland 1970s

  1. >Concrete reigns in our architecture, which is in logical disagreement with reports of a lack of cement. Tons of cement are poured on paths and sidewalks, on playgrounds for children. There are concrete sandboxes, concrete fences, concrete benches. Kilometers of land are covered with a concrete shell that should be replaced by grass, gravel, sand. Through this gray concrete, our lives turn gray. The concrete deserts of the city are a challenge to the principles of human environmental protection.
