Middle East supply fears push WTI above $107, lifting Devon (DVN) and Diamondback (FANG) each 5% as their Permian cash flows track crude prices directly.
Permian pure-plays are outrunning the broader market, with XOP gaining just 3% while SPY drops 0.3%, widening the gap for upstream producers.

A fresh climb in crude is pushing Permian oil producers well ahead of the rest of the stock market. Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) stock is up 5% to $51.64 in afternoon trading. That gain shows how directly the producer’s cash flow tracks the price of a barrel. Meanwhile, Diamondback Energy (NASDAQ:FANG) stock is rising 5% to $206.70, keeping pace with Devon stock.

Shares of Devon and Diamondback are outpacing the broader energy group. The SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF (NYSEARCA:XOP) is up 3% to $203.48, a smaller advance. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (NYSEARCA:SPY) is down 0.3% to $762.06, leaving oil producers on the winning side of a split market.

Oil prices are climbing as Middle East risks persist, with concerns about renewed U.S. strikes on Iran adding a premium to every barrel. The West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil price is up 3.56% over the past 24 hours to $103.01 per barrel. Crude oil’s climb has turned into a broad bid for U.S. upstream producers, with Devon and Diamondback shares among the biggest beneficiaries.
