Maybe it’s just how this is written, but there seems to be some cognitive dissonance here. She doesn’t want to be judged, but passes judgment on other prostitutes, “drinkers,” and druggies?
What’s the point of this article, to name-and-shame one woman? Sounds like she was a prostitute, addicted to drugs, and had her first kid by the time she was 16, and never got out of that hole. Why not clarify that if this is meant to be sympathetic? Or is the article just feigning sympathy to jab at the interviewee?
On what planet is this news? This is just misery tourism. The woman clearly needs intensive help.
Urgh she’s just being further exploited to make stupid statements for the 200 quid or whatever pittance of that magnitude the paper have given her to run this ‘story’. Clearly she’s made terrible choices, probably influenced by circumstance, but the people running the paper that have encouraged her along to be publicised like this probably don’t have the same excuse of poor starting conditions.

The last one I remember seeing was about that mum on benefits who was somehow also spending thousands of pounds on designer gear and jewellery for her kid – a story that appeared largely word for word across a very large number of conveniently linked news websites as I noted [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/unitedkingdom/comments/vqlmlk/pampered_toddler_bathes_in_milk_and_honey_and_has/ieq1wom/?context=3). That list of sites again:

It looks like they learned their lesson, as this story only comes up on a few other sites right now:

It’s still making the rounds though, with the most recent being the Evening Chronicle 11 minutes ago. It’s just more sites to add to the block / ignore list – if they’re running trash like this, they were never legitimate news websites worth bothering with in the first place.
