I’ve read the Prong Collar was banned this year in Germany. An old retired lady told me this When she saw my dog with the collar on. However it still can be purchased on [amazon.de](https://amazon.de) and on other German sites. So I dont really get it, how can it be verboten, but easily accessible in the same time? Is it really banned or ppl dont care as long as you use it with care ?
I used it for weeks for training and my dog really needs it. She\`s an adopted Bulldog, she was never taught anything, has no name etc. Treats dont work unless she\`s really hungry. We train her with positive reinforcements techniques, but in some cases the collar is really needed. I dont want to take her to any trainers as my wife and I had dogs in the past (German Shepherd and Cane Corso) and We were always able to teach and socialize them properly.
