Khan wants an election now because he thinks Labour would win. If the Tories pick a leader half as horrible as Bojo, the Tories will probably win in 2025.
Khan’s reasons are empty. It’s just a power grab, but he ain’t gonna get his wish.
He hasn’t *actually* resigned, has he? He’s appointed a cabinet, will continue to rule over us until September, *and then* resign.
