Stubb and generally the centre-right in Finland were publicly for liberalising the taxi industry and campaigned for it, after the elections they made it easier for Uber and similar companies to do business here, which a lot of Finns wanted as well.
On Reddit the taxi reform is a popular complaint topic, but people also disliked the past system, where you couldn’t get a ride on busy weekend days. Drivers in the countryside also had it worse before.
