I haven’t watched any documentary on it but I was hoping it was Bailey because that’s who people said it was and I would prefer if the man everyone suspected was the actual person who did it.
However the husband in France seems more likely. AFAIR he married his mistress not long after her murder and never came to Ireland or spoke about the murder. Murders like that are usually done by the husband in most cases.
It seems looking back that Bailey was targeted by the guards just to secure a conviction, a bit like the American system…it doesn’t matter what the truth is, as long as you nail someone for it, that’s success.
100% convinved the ex husband did it. His new girlfriend pregnant. Wasn’t he involved with some dodgy funding relating to mafia or russian crowd. Can’t remember from documentary, but I had the case solved in my head.
