Hey everyone,
I’ve been living in my flat for just over a year now and up till now it’s been relatively quiet, despite there being offices next door. Unfortunately a new company has moved in, which distributes these beds ([https://www.burmeier.com/en/care-beds/](https://www.burmeier.com/en/care-beds/)) every morning between 05:30 and 08:00. It seems they are running a warehouse out of what is a pretty residential neighborhood. I have complained but they don’t seem to care that they are waking up the whole building (probably more than just us) with the noise they make loading and unloading the beds into vans every 20 odd minutes. The other tenants and I have collectively reached out to our building management but they of course don’t have any influence on the matter.
This subreddit has been a great help since I moved to Berlin, so I was thinking maybe someone has advice as to handle the situation.
thanks in advance

Maybe reach out to the city offices (“Stadtplanung”), probably depends on zoning if they can run what seems like a warehouse in a residential area.
Probably get a lawyer and find out what the permitted max. level of noise is for your area at a certain time of the day. Get a sound level meter and write a protocol for a couple of weeks and then confront the company, if they‘re regularly exceeding the permitted max sound level.
Other angle of attack would be to check if a warehouse is allowed in your area.
