Cracking game, not sure about the penalty or whether there should have been stiffer action for the follow up, but I think Kerry deserved it overall.
Was the last free kick even a bit harsh too, but was glad it didn’t go to extra time and penalties.
I hope Evan Comerford is OK, Uri Geller seemed to strike him with the auld mind control beams

It was a great game from a neutral perspective. The only downer was the persistent fouling to stop the counter attack. Both teams were at it, but the team that did it the most won.
I hate this particular foul because counterattacks are more likely to result in a goal. What can be done about it? In my opinion a free isn’t enough punishment. Even if they were to give out a yellow cards there will be cases where players are happy to take a yellow in order to stop an attack. I think the counterattacking team should be rewarded with a scoring opportunity… but not a gimme…. maybe a 45 in line with where the player was fouled.
It was a great game. The lads from Kerry beat the lads from Dublin and the ref from Roscommon.
