  1. Let’s not forget that literally 1 year ago the EU was having advanced trade negotiations with China, so I wouldn’t hold my breath for any kind of escalation between China and the EU. Eurocrats still don’t understand or care about the geopolitical threat of China.

  2. I don’t for a moment believe that their anti-china phase is natural and self motivated. You have to be blind to not see the politics of this.

  3. One of the ruling coalition parties officially declared they will support Taiwan(before elections), and that is what they are doing.
Anyone having a shocking Pikachu face right now, is funny.

  4. Since when did Lithuania become such a strong player? This is amazing 👏 I love seeing countries not often talked about (mainly in my country usa) start to be seen and heard way more.

  5. Can we stop having so much Lituania news in r/europe? It’s basically a China/Taiwan spam in this sub at this point

  6. The contrast between the Chinese government’s big boy military/propaganda act and their hyper-sensitive, glass-like fragility to any criticism is always hilarious (and worrying) to see.

A country so powerful its government feels offended when other people mention the existence of a neighbor known mostly for making computer chips.
