I still remember this day so clearly. I find it hard to believe it was 17 years ago.
I was working a crappy job in customer facing roles. Co workers trying to contact their parents and friends who were working in London while having to deal with customers making issues over who gives a crap stuff. It really made me see just how self centred some people are and even huge events the world keeps going on with its own pettiness.
Luckily nobody was hurt but an acquaintance did have his white van near the bus blast and it had his phone number on. People from all over the world called him hoping he was okay.
