Another bloodbath today hopefully….throw the fucker out
Resignations keep coming and they don’t stop coming
He’s been one of the worst ones I can remember.
Going to have to browse /new today to keep up…
Not really looking forward to the Tories shedding their skin and winning back support after this. Statistics suggest that changing leader will help them win the next election.
Let’s not pretend that they’re a moral bunch who’ve been led astray by Boris. I’m pretty sure most don’t care about the groping, they just saw it as a convenient time to turn on him.
Pretty sure “honesty and integrity” were never priorities for this government, so I don’t know why they’re all acting surprised now.
Maybe the opportunities for feathering their own nests are decreasing, so that’s why they want a change.
This is a revolving cabinet, just like Corbyn’s shadow cabinet. At some point, you run out of eligible backbenchers.
I had no idea there was so many ministers.
Apparently 6 ministers have resigned already this morning, just in the last hour or so.
* Guy Opperman
* Chris Philip
* George Freeman
* Damian Hinds
* Brandon Lewis
* Helen Whately
At this rate, Boris will not have any government left at all by Saturday morning.
Nadhim Zahawi in a few minutes: It has been a honour, and a great responsibility, to serve as a minister, but we need leadership change, and I have resigned.
what’s changed in the last month since the vote of no confidence? i just don’t get how he “wins” the vote then it seems like everyone turns on him.
Let’s go Brandon!
Boris Johnson should be proud of himself. Not even Margaret Thatcher forced a Tory government to go on strike.
This is just a show and a push for the Tories to say they care and want things to change when in reality they are all just part of the same snake
Just heard of one that only got promoted 36hrs ago, having resigned already (didn’t catch the name)

Another day in lunatic land. 48 resignations now.
Resignations starting early today. I’m in UK time +1 and I haven’t even had my breakfast yet.
Wonder how many quit today.
Go Brandon?
Is anyone else giddily refreshing new waiting for the next one to drop?
The BBC announced his resignation then rescinded it yesterday lmao.
Conservatives always want smaller government
Mods, shouldn’t you put a megathread up at this point?
How many ministers are there? 49 has to be a significant chunk of the total gone?
Someone at the gov.uk website will have a busy day!
