Vlamingen leren toch Frans, wat is het probleem dan?
Niemand doet dat express he. Het is niet dat ze geen tweetaligen of nederlandstaligen willen aannemen, denk ik. Ik vermoed dat er gewoon niet genoeg nederlandstaligen zich aanbieden.
Wat is uw voorstel? Wat wil je dat ze doen?

Maar de taalwetgeving, legaal, ween ween.
Brussel tweetalig in nederlands / frans is naiever dan vlaanderen onafhankelijk. Geen hoeveelheid wetten of regeltjes gaat dat voor mekaar krijgen. Tweetalig engels / frans gaat nog sneller lukken dan nederlands / frans.
Maar historische stijd en onderdrukking door die evil franstaligen !! Alsof de huidige brusselaar daar veel mee te maken heeft. De duitsers hebben 10000 keer gedaan; en toch werken we gemakkelijk, pragmatisch en constructief met hen samen. De schuldigen zijn dood of liggen seniel in een rusthuis. Let it go.
My best friend moved to Oudergem last year and had no problem getting all the ID related stuff at the gemeentehuis in Dutch. He said there were at least three different who spoke Dutch quite well, one of them being a native speaker or native bilingual.
What I don’t understand is that on the one hand ambtenaren and healthcare workers are expected to be bilingual, but on the other hand the school curriculum isn’t.
Why can’t the two educational systems merge into one in Bxl and make sure kids actually graduate as bilinguals? For example, they could have history in Dutch and Math in French, and go on stages in Flanders and Wallonia, etc.

Politie elsene: wijkagent deed haar best, maar in nood stel ik mij vragen
Apotheker flagey: geen NL en faliekant geen service
Ziekenhuis: geen NL bij pcr testing
Wat een klucht Is dat hier
If they can say those two sentences they are already in the top tier of non-native Dutch speaking civil servants in the Brussels area.

So,what do you expect: perfect master of french and dutch ? Don’t you remember that these first line jobs are not the best paid. And that the public sector in the Brussels Region is the less paid of all. This is the result of the underfunding of the region an its institutions.
