Wildfires rage across Portugal due to recent heat waves

The fire has hit a luxury housing estate in Algarve known as “Quinta do Lago” today and this looks a lot like it was filmed there, hence the swimming pool, the guy speaking in a language other than portuguese and the lake nearby (this in a country which is undergoing one of the worst draughts in at least a decade).

   Meanwhile other people have seen a lifetime of work go up in flames.

   Fortunatelly, no deaths so far.
