From 13th August to 28th August I’d have a plan to visit Romania from. Now I am struggling with the flight tickets as I cannot find an appropriate website to buy them. [Kiwi.com](https://kiwi.com/) and eDreamer seem bad as there is a ton of negative reviews about them, however I cannot find any place else to buy as I do not have much of money (I just can pay $1200 for the tickets).

So if you have any experience of travelling from SEA/Hanoi to Romania, please help.

  1. Search on skyscanner first. Then go and book straight up from the company site, not from kiwi or other 3rd party.

  2. Near zero chances you’ll be able to book return HAN-OTP for less than 2000-ish euros/USD.
Fares are sky high right now, demand is through the roof for Europe to Asia and return.

Your best bet is to fly Vietnam Airlines to one of their EU-bases (AMS / CDG) then connect to OTP with one of the Skyteam partners operating these routes (Airfrance / KLM / Tarom).

You’ll likely find the same (bad) deals across the board regardless of the aggregators used (skyscanner, expedia etc.)

I’d book through the airline’s website if i were you.

  3. Try a flight to the UAE then another one to Romania. I don’t know if they require a visa in the UAE, but it should be the easiest way for your. Or maybe fly to Istanbul then Romania.

  4. Go straight on the airliner company. Check Austrian airlines. They had decent prices and many routes worldwide.

    You’ll need to change 2-3 flights also… I doubt there’s any direct flight…
