I remember reading articles and news broadcasts about this in the early 2000.
It got very controversial here (in Denmark) when a chef said “I wouldnt feed cured or processed meat to a dog” – back in 2005 or so. People eat a lot of processed and cured meat here, so I remember the outcry of “so we cant eat anything anymore?”
But great Franced figured that one out too. Maybe it is different curing styles they discovered also can cause cancer, like the rest.
