Were Ireland not ranked number 1 going into the last World Cup? When they didn’t make it past the quarter finals again. Really puts the rankings into perspective.
Let’s just hope they keep the momentum going. And not let earlier on be a one off.
The main issue is peaking too soon. Autumn 🍂 will be interesting, bit if we’re not there or thereabouts for the 6N we can forget about it.

Hardly an achievement considering only a handful of countries take rugby seriously.
Ireland is also the leading country in hurling and gaelic.
Its great for Irish Rugby, but it means jack shit unless we perform at the World Cup.
