Anti-5G campaigners take their message to the beach in Minehead

  1. One protester – ‘I haven’t found any evidence of this being tested’

Another protester – ‘5G is a toxic pollutant and a completely untested technology. Tens of thousands of peer reviewed studies show it causes biological harm and is a carcinogen.’

Ok, so somehow it’s not been tested, but there are ‘tens of thousands of peer reviewed studies’ showing that it’s dangerous? Uhh, whatnow?

I always try to keep somewhat of an open mind on things (we’ve made too many mistakes in the past because we thought we knew it all), but either show me your evidence, or shut up. Honestly, if it does turn out that there’s a threat to health from 5G, half the blame for the delay in it being taken seriously will fall to groups like this spouting bollocks like:

    >The campaigners also highlighted the proposed ‘internet of things’ (IOT) and how this could relate to digital surveillance and lead to an infringement of basic freedoms.
    >
    >The group says the technology is being sold to the public as a way to address climate change

  2. What a bunch of muppets. A year or two later and they are still going on about how 5G is dangerous. The microwave in their kitchens are likely to be more dangerous then 5G.

  3. From their website…
    > The wireless telecoms industry intend to outfit nearly every lamp post or utility post around the country with wireless small cell antennas beaming hazardous radiation next to, or into, our homes, schools, work places and everywhere, 24/7 as well as intensifying 4G throughout the countryside.

Now, just imagine how terrible it would be if there was a *really* powerful source of harmful radiation bathing us in its glare.

    Yeah.

They’d better start campaigning to get the sun turned off, since UV from the sun is far more damaging than anything that 5G base stations might put out.
