This is great. I did Erasmus in Latvia back in 2007, and though you could see the huge potential (namely through very good education) in the Baltics, it was still suffering from its past. So glad things are picking up thanks to intelligent governance (looking at you Estonia).
While good, due to inflation the real wage growth is lagging a bit. According to Swedbank, so far the real wage growth was only 3.5% while net growth was 9.1%. Its still good, just not as good as it could be. Last year was good though, about 12% real wage growth 🙂
And while those numbers might seem large in some countries, remember that wages in the Baltics are way behind European rich countries.
