  1. So far, I can’t read dannish, any translation mate ?

EDIT : Thanks to the person who provided a translation

Got to agree with that to be fair :

    > We leaders do not communicate through tweets or published letters. We are not whistleblowers for Søren.

What a weird move, moreover when it has been reported he changed his stance between the letter he published and the call he made the day before.

.In Paris, the frustrations over the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, and his government have long been great as a result of Brexit. And with British criticism of France’s efforts to stop migrants, French irritation has reached new heights.
    >
    >When Prime Minister Johnson presents a proposal for dealing with the migrant crisis on Twitter before it is discussed with the French government, it is seen from the French side that the British are most interested in how its handling of the crisis is mentioned in the British media. The Johnson government is well aware that there are no easy solutions, and therefore a negotiated solution with France will end up with something that will be difficult to sell to the conservative hinterland.

  4. The UK government doesn’t appear to have any interest in contributing to a multilateral solution given its letter made it clear it expects France to deal with all the asylum seekers including those who want to claim asylum in the UK.

I suspect the letter sent by the UK government was largely intended for domestic consumption by Conservative voters.

  5. Imagine trying to dump your problems on other peoples shores because you don’t have the balls to deal with it on your own and then trying to pin the fault on others.

Most leaders elsewhere would be fucking apoplectic not frivolous.

  6. B-but the honorable Mr. Nigel Farage assured us all that in a world without the EU, all European countries would always be the best of friends. States would never bad-mouth and scapegoat each other for local political gains… >!( that if left unchecked grows into enemy narratives, breakdown of relations and eventually conflict )!<

  7. Of course the tweet was unprofessional, as were some of the suggestions. I’m not sure disinviting is helpful.
