  1. Come on Boris, writing is on the wall at this point.

And it’s trouble if he doesn’t, because only truly sycophantic, brainless, Brexiteer cretins will be left in cabinet – a government far more right wing than even the current Tory party as a whole

  2. I’m from the US but have been paying attention to British Politics for many years and this shit that Johnson has managed to get himself into is hilarious coming from an outsider. Honestly, watching British politics helps me forget the absolute shitshow of US politics. lol

  3. You’ll be able to stretch out quite nicely on the tory front bench soon. Bring a picnic basket, there’s all the space you need.

  4. I might be the only one who isn’t too concerned whether he stays or not.. I genuinely don’t believe any of the potential replacements are any better.

I’m more looking forward to the next general election, whenever this might be.

  5. I think if they set a date for a new VoNC, he’ll do the maths on his margin in the last VoNC, see that he’s going to lose and call an election as a desperate attempt to stay on

  6. As good as it will be to see him go who fucking replaces him. I could see him calling an election he knows he will lose just to spite the party

  7. Did anyone see JRM on Channel 4 news last night?

    Twisting unbelievably.

Now there is a man who is probably the only person who needs Alexander to cling on in there as long as possible, so he keeps a cabinet post.

The hateful streak of piss knows that the rest of the party think he is a fringe nutter who should be no where near the government or a cabinet job. Alexander goes so does JRM. Back benches? No way he deserves a park bench.

Personally I couldn’t hate him more if he were made of peas. There isn’t a hole deep enough.

  8. 27 top Tories in 24 hours, and Gove has shat on BoJo’s doorstep? I was wrong when I said yesterday “I can only be so erect”, turns out I can be, somehow, ludicrously erect!

  9. I’m 30 and can’t remember anything like this ever happening in politics – when was the last time something this bad happened to a sitting PM?

  10. Its all fun and games that we’re laughing at Boris, but weve just had the 3 people in charge of the 3 biggest crisises in the country (Cost of Living, Housing, NHS) all resign within 24 hours…

Something bad is coming, and they wanted out

  11. Who? Been through so many now they’re promoting the reserve team, soon they’ll have one of the office cleaners being the education minister.

  12. Reckon there’ll be a press conference where Boris just comes out, recites “If” by Rudyard Kipling and then declares England will be playing 4-4-2

  13. The Tory party itself is im/exploding in spectacular fashion. That’s the good news. Now, if we only had an inspirational and ethical leader of the Opposition. Ah, that’s the bad news.

  14. I love these people claiming they have integrity. That time that anyone with integrity would have left is long long ago.
