Gdansk and Sopot both beautiful cities, im juss after visiting the tri-city, Gdynia was a big let down unfortunatly
I love Gdańsk and it’s easily the best city in Poland IMO, especially if you live close to the seaside. The Old Town is great too, but beware of the strip clubs. There are just too many of them there.
If you go to the Old Town during unpopular time and day (e.g. Sunday 10PM not during tourist season), you will find that the only people apart from you are these guys inviting you to the strip clubs. And don’t go there please.

It sure is. One of the great riches of Poland. So different from other cities and yet so very Polish.

I recently visited Gdansk and really wanted to meet or hear Lech Walesa speak. Does he ever make public appearances or stroll in the streets? I even went to his office at the Museum, but of course he wasn’t there.
