Salut! I made this for Hungarians mainly, however it might be interesting for you guys to see how your country sub reacts to foreigners wanting to move there.
Unexpected ngl. But I hope it doesn’t happen
And we thought we were self-hating. Sheeeeesh!
No wait, how aren’t there any negative ones? I refuse to believe this
Your algorithm might have some problems distinguishing negative comments.
The comparisons are interesting but I think the best countries for this comp vs Romania would be Poland/Bulgaria.
Slovakia I know has similar internal problems like us so I was expecting those numbers for us rather than what came up.
Nice! Would be interesting to see the reactions in all EU/Schengen countries.
Austria 64% positivity is complete bs.
Positive, but still questioning why they would want to do it.
So is this a matter of Hungarians saying: don’t come here, it sucks, or them not liking foreigners trying to move there?
So the reactions are for people wanting to move to Hungary specifically or reactions towards moving to the countries listed in the chart? Not sure I understand the chart.
Andrew Tate effect :)))))))))
Imigrația de pensionare străină ajuta sau împovărează țara? Adică aduc bani dar cresc prețurile pentru noi.
Analiza mea e ca romanilor le place circulaba.
Are Hungarian comments more like “Fuck off stupid foreigner, don’t spoil our little Hungarian paradise!” or more like “Omg, why would you join this fucking shithole of a country?”
> I am planning to move to Slovenia
Slovenes:
>meh.
i know i’m stupid but i’m having a headache trying to understand the title and the picture. who is happy about who moving where ?
De asta vor ungurii in Transilvania. :))
A description on how you end up with this statistics would be great
I got a huge mailbox full of hate mail when I asked why Romanians seem to hate their own country and questioned it. Pretty much every post I’ve made on Reddit before immigrating here I got random messages in my inbox and how the country sucks, don’t move here etc.
And you’re telling me the Hungarians are worse? Oof.
Not saying it’s wrong, but I would say it’s wrong.
I’ve seen/participated in a couple of this kind of threads myself and there are a lot of negative comments but not in hateful way, but more from the surprise that someone actually wants to move to Romania.
We don’t have: “fuck you, don’t move here” we have “why the fuck would you move here since this is a shithole of a country”
The better question would be, who exactly did you ask? People living in Romania respectively or Romanians that are living abroad? I‘ll tell you, the chart you‘ve made there would drastically change ◡̈
wow is Thanos Croatian? Because that seems balanced af.
romania: yeah, come here, btw we move there
And then there’s Slovenia getting distracted and not really paying attention.
Post it on /r/europe
Honestly, I was recently just part of a fb thread about someone saying they loved Romania. I told them to join us and the overall tone of the entire thread was extremely warm and welcoming.
What’s the pool size for us? 3 people? No way there wasn’t at least one guy that said to not come here.
