Disregarding the use of the word “hate” as purely baiting, Ireland’s attitude towards Israel is probably down to recognising Israel as an apartheid state that treats Palestinians like dirt and cries anti-semitism wherever anyone dares to point it out.

Israel is hands down the best destination I have ever gone to. Every Israeli I’ve met has been warm, generous & good people.
Same as Britain, issue isn’t with the people, culture or religion, it’s the policies enacted by the governments that are the issue. We’ve had enough governmental abuse here over the centuries, both foreign and self-inflicted, not hard to call out a state that abuses what should be considered its citizens.

We hate watching a country enslave another and have long term goals of wiping out a people simply because of who they are. Israel are constantly treating Palestinians like crap and then when you decide to call the Israeli government out on their appalling atrocities they use the jew card. I’m pretty sure many jews are distancing themselves from Israel as well because of the uncomfortable parallels of what the Israeli government are doing compared to the 40’s and what happened to them in the first place. I’m glad that the Israeli embassy are so embarrased that they don’t even have their flag up anymore.
