I’d say pushing Mehole out now is the last sting of a dying wasp. They left it too long and allowed him to do too much damage for this to make a difference. They should have seen after the last election that there needed to be substantial action taken on the issues that people are angry about, like housing and health. But since then they’ve only had the usual sticking-plaster approach to problems. The only party that might do worse than FF is the greens.
