I’m always shocked to hear that so many European countries accept to have foreign military bases on their territory.
When the one sweet thing that brings morale up in a unit, and a few assholes gotta ruin it for everyone else…. this is hilarious!
That’s good because they should expect their troops to behave the best they can but on the other hand something should be said about drinking and driving scooters generally.
Because it seems to me that we have a plague of that in Europe – even though it’s not legal
“The entire 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team — which includes about 3,000 soldiers — was told they could no longer spend nights off base, and alcohol has been banned until the entire unit is trained on obeying German driving laws regarding drinking and driving, Tomassi said. The training is likely to be completed this weekend.”
