How tf a 180g bag of chips costs 3.2 eur? To me, a Lithuanian, it’s insane.

  1. We don’t know – they are the only ones who raised it THAT high – it could be anything. Honestly it could be even that they need time to switch from sunflower oil, and because how markets work (you buy a place in shelf) they raised it, so that they dont loose the spot in markets based on some product availability rule. Its probbly stupid idea, but I think its something more than just “high gas prices”

  2. They made all their production with Ukrainian sunflower oil and the disruption to the supply chains really fucked them over.

  3. Holy where is that. Here in liepājā a huge pack of Estrella chips costs 2 euros but it’s huge these are small bags costing 3 euros, did you go into a gas station?

  4. Would you like a 2 EUR jar of sour cream and some most basic 10 EUR/kg cheese on the side, sir? Maybe a somewhat decent bottle of beer for 2 EUR to go with that?

  5. Yes it’s insane. So far that’s the highest price ive seen IRL. Seen it at a gas station and a regular shop- rare time that its the same price lol.

Can still sometimes find 1.9eur one, but its rare.
