Oh, you can turn them off, alright. A good old kick to the post will turn it off, for a while. Just need to have people running around town kicking ’em left and right.
Why do I know? Because that’s what we did as kids. At least more entertaining than smashing bricks together.
In this day and age if these guys are using gas for light andthen chose to turn offnuclear and depend on putinsgas then the deserve the buttffing putin is planning

to be honest; these lanterns are one of my favorite things about berlin. They look really good and they give off a really pleasing light.
