Landlords who own rentals maybe. Most people who actually live in their houses still need a place to live and aren’t going to sell up (unless already planning to do so).
Selling now to get a good rate on a new house before they rise more like.

Telegraph has really been banging on about a house price collapse for years now. I’ve got a friend whose really gotten himself caught up in believing it and it’s really pissing his wife off.
I bought a home, a place to live, not a financial asset I’ll hop skip and jump with
