  1. NOW they have scruples.

Or as we all really know, they’re rats on a sinking ship.

It’s cathartic but I don’t have faith it’ll get any better.

  2. I don’t care what it is that finally collapses the Tory government but you can only stand so close to an ethical black hole before destruction occurs and if this is the straw that breaks the camels back, instead of the hundred other reasons he had to quit before, then so be it.

  3. As of this week. Last week was fine though, and the week before that. It’s like they have just realised that Johnson might not be all that great.

  4. Have I missed something in the last day or two. Has some new horrendous scandal enveloped the Prime Minister or is this just rats finally noticing the water is up to their ears and they should make a swift exit?

  5. To be brutally honest that MP is a nobody (his reputation as a mp or as minster in the past and recent holds no weight)

  6. i really dont wanna be that guy but the whole brexit sham about “getting rid of immigrants” is such a joke, considering majority of uk’s politics, especially these with highest means of power are literally immigrants, its nearly hilarious but in fact its depressing af how stupid people really are

  7. I wonder what broke the camels back, because they’re quite fine with everyone being poorer and the entire country going to shit because they’re against any form of progression in human life and stability.

  8. At this point they probably just want to wash their hands of him before the next election and hope the public can be distracted enough that it won’t hold them back.

It’ll probably work too, especially since the opposition is lead by an actual mannequin in a suit.

  9. The issue is really who ever replaces him will still be taking orders from Rupert Murdoch it’s him who runs the show in UK and USA

  10. All these resignations just make me lose even more respect for politicians.

After everything he’s already done (lies, crime, general stupidity), they are only abandoning him now to save their own skin like rats on a sinking ship as everyone is saying.

But what annoys me more is politicians have a job to do (basically look after and try and improve the economy and quality of life of the country). Yet when they get caught doing something they shouldn’t have done, or when work gets too difficult, they just quit rather than face consequences or do their job! Then instantly seem to still have some similar job in government – still getting rich but out of the firing line.

Cameron stupidly had the EU referendum (which was NOT a legally binding vote – more of a suggestion poll). He just barely loses that (which in reality was about 30% of the country voting for it….), and rather than come up with a plan or face it he just quits. So have many other politicians over the last few years.

Now after years of corruption and lies (and completely backing and supporting Johnson in them), these politicians now decide to grow a conscience… But then rather than make Johnson quit, they do and are instantly replaced with someone else who will go along with the lies…

  11. Aye but he had no bother doing it while they were knowingly lying to the public about a gamut of incidents and scandals. Anyone who votes Tory from here on in needs a psychiatric and IQ evaluation.

  12. Nothing will get better until we get rid of the Tories! The only option is Labour though as we are only a 2 party state really. I don’t like Starmer as he’s just a lite Tory, but at least under Labour we could force them to head in the right direction by voting for more socialism.
