  1. Well, of course he does. It won’t happen though, bojo will carry on till 2024 and somehow still win.

  2. How does Keir always manage to say the wrong thing, nothing will galvanise the tories more than the leader of the opposition calling for a general election.

  3. What would he do if there was a GE and lost still.

Sad reality is no current leader of any party is appealing. Its just choosing who’s the least worst out of a bad bunch.

  4. Starmer is a wet paper towel after his comments during covid that made it apparent he could only form opinions based on opinion polls. Get mick lynch in

  5. The best thing Keir can do now is keep quiet, sit back and eat popcorn. The Torys are doing a good job of destroying themselves, he doesn’t need to do or say anything that might encourage a Tory MP to back Boris.

  6. IF Durham fine Starmer, then he might get what he wants here.

A General Election would be a big reset for Johnson. Suddenly Partygate, Pincher and the rest would all be ancient history and he would have a fresh new mandate.

  7. I mean if there’s ever a good chance of a lefty coalition government now can’t be a terrible time, I guess?

  8. Delusional Red Tory thinks he’s going to win in spite of screwing over his party and his country by failing to keep his promises and be an effective opposition leader during a time when it couldn’t be more needed. I will still grudgingly vote tactically for this shit show of a party because when someone is bleeding out your first concern has to be stopping the bleeding but there needs to be massive fundamental changes.

  9. I think people are dead wrong thinking this is a good idea. There are still a lot of people out there who would back Boris to “let him get on with the job.” You only have to watch BBC Question Time to see that. Many people simply won’t vote for Keir Starmer as they don’t see him as worthy of being PM.

Personally, I’d be voting Labour, but I’d much rather Andy Burnham be in charge. I think he comes across as better leader for the party.

  10. What staggers me most is that what is needed to take down this corrupt shower of Tories… is other Tories. Starmer has had so many open goals and spectacularly missed all of them.
