What the fucking fuck. Why would you spend that much to live there, i mean Inchicore is lovely but this just seems deranged
Nearly double the asking price!? Buyers haven’t a hope
Listen, whatever flute buys it for that price will be the same person that’ll struggle to meet the repayment’s when the bubble bursts. Hopefully its an foreign investment fund that’ll take the hit.
Inchicore is always a weird one. I looked at an absolute shell in 2018 for 300k, no wireing, no toilet, half the place would be demolished.
Go accross the road into Drimnagh amd get a decent one for the same or less
Who is buying properties at this price in Inchicore?
Almost 3/4 of a million for a terraced house. I’d be wanting a proper mansion for that kind of money
It’s finished really nicely and has a lovely kitchen extension, but I’d have said €550k not €700k+.
Will be interesting to see what the actual sale price is when agreed.
This could most definitely bite someone in the bumbum. At some point soon housing policy will shift and/or tax policy. Often those with money think this makes them smart, but Ireland is full of decrepit house bought for a fortune and worth…
Could at least give crazyhousesprices the credit 🤣
It doesn’t justify the price even remotely, but I was actually just thinking this morning that property in places like Inchicore and Rialto are going to become way more expensive relative to a lot of the rest of the city over the next 10-20 years, kind of like some traditional rougher areas of NY and London have in the last 20-30.
It’s a pure guess, but given I cycle/scooter through them back from work every day, while they’re still a little rough in parts they are far, far nicer than when I was younger, and have a bit of a hipster type vibe about them.
It’s stunning inside!
Its a 3 bed terraced (probably ex corpo) house. Not on your nelly would I pay that. Whoever is bidding that kind of money for it must have a screw loose.
I feel like if you want to announce the highest bid price, prove it was submitted.
lol, David Brock, one of the lads who owns that estate agent, is a proper smarmy little cunt. Tried to refuse me my deposit back in 2008.
Imagine being the sucker that bid that much, the impending recession will hit these people hard!
LOL Road? Pah, just paying for the address
What’s the problem with Inchicore exactly OP?

The house itself is quite nice and decent size at 120sqm, plenty big enough for a family with 2 kids. The price is definitely a bit much.
You’ll have to work very hard to convince me that agents aren’t faking bids for price hikes like this.
People, I keep telling ye, fuck Dublin. Buy in the country towns. 3 bedroom terrace in Athlone sold for 170k recently
Fantastic! I do a little dance in my kitchen each morning before Mass,l paid €340,000 in 2013 for my house and its over the €850,000 mark now! Very sweet indeed. It’s absolutely fantastic with all the new people coming to Ireland (including Refugees, bless em!) that my five bedroom house is soaring into the Stratosphere,l pray to God l hit the €900,000 by Christmas, that will be a lovely Present! I pray for another several million Ukrainians to arrive, pushing my house price into Space! (Will lt reach the MILLION EUROS!??😀) Keep em coming, close Phoenix Park, turn the whole park into a Refugee camp,we could fit a quarter of a million in there,l do not care where we put them, just get them in! The refugees are needed to pay my Pension soon too. God bless FG and God bless Boris (for his Rwanda policy, now the Refugees will all come to lreland!😆) It’s WIN WIN WIN for lrish people, our house prices explode and our Pensions are guaranteed.
Probably know about the stash buried in the back garden
Stupid is the one offering, not the one asking – another one of my favourite Romanian sayings.
Are these real bids?
The likelihood that someone was shot in that estate would be reasonably high
I’m not sure any of us realise just how utterly fucked this country is in the short to medium term
I bought a house that was once owned by Cork City council, it was her grandparents house. Now to buy it we needed to be a first time buyer ( we were) and I now own the freehold which I bought from the council. Don’t see what I did as bad
Jesus christ the amount of filter on that image id expect the house to have bloody dog ears
Tell me we are in a bubble without telling me we are in a bubble !
I don’t understand how a couple can sit around one evening and say you know what let’s buy a city 3-bedroom house for €710,000.
if you literally go down to Wexford you could probably buy a 7 bedroom home with a swimming pool for 500,000 and still have €200,000 to live on but sure if you think putting it all down on some shity three bedroom house is the way to go please by all means go and spend your money and I wish you the best of luck trying to pay off that mortgage when we enter into the biggest depression since the 1930s

Nope, if I had 7.1 million I wouldn’t pay 710k for that. Far better value to be got further down the country without getting into crippling debt.

Edit: [who’s the bellend upping the bid by €45k?](https://i.imgur.com/4me37AL.png) that’s some dumb shit.
