VAT on clothes tho, so don’t even think about wearing an extra jumper.
According to cnbc the price of natural gas has almost halved in the last month, pretty much all commodities are collapsing (oil was below $100 a barrel yesterday) – we’re not seeing bankruptcies in the sector like we did last year.
Cap needs to be brought back down.
Mine won’t. But then I spent time over the last 5 years actually trying to reduce them. Now, people who didn’t bother, are paying the cost. Sooner or later we have to actually cut our use, and that means making people who won’t do it by choice. I didn’t expect 2022 to be the year, but here it is. Welcome to the stick part of carrot and stick.
I don’t like how our new Chancellor is on the payroll of an oil company. You know whose back he will be covering.
You can save on gas if you never have hot water or heating. Second tip we’ve also been relying on for the last few years is remember to turn your fridge off for the last 10 days of the month when it’s empty.
This is what happens when the state is obsessed with reducing carbon emissions and cares not one jot for the citizens.
Meanwhile my bill was £101 this month and it’s a 2 bed, no heating on since it’s hot as hell out…
Winter is going to probably kill people at this rate and that’s not an exaggeration
Sound’s great… won’t be paying it… The bailiffs wont even be able to afford the petrol to fill up their vans.
We all sit here and take it. What do you want?
I’m surprised it’s not already that. With food prices also rising, we are getting fucked over more and more every week. Naturally, the only solution is to try not being poor.

Or for the government to do something but they rather see most of us stay poor.
