Go to some tourist shop and buy a thingie that converts the US socket to an EU socket
This is not really your typical North American type A socket but rather a niche [shaver-only socket](https://www.traveller.com.au/shavers-only-power-points-in-hotel-bathrooms-can-you-charge-your-phone-gtes4k) that in my experience is found almost exclusively in hotel bathrooms. As the linked article states, it’s not really meant for any devices other than shavers, so using it for your charger is not recommended and not guaranteed to work either. My guess is that the bit pointing out is a type of push in fuse. Anyway, if you are in a hotel maybe contact the reception staff as they can possibly provide you with the proper adapter or another alternative.
Realistically, I wouldn’t visit US and expect my EU sockets/plugs to work there.
I would go buy either a new charger for my device or go to any electronics store and buy an EU-to-US adapter. [It costs 50 cents.](https://i.imgur.com/p8n8mcx.png)
