The authorization to remove masks in covidpass only have never really been used in most places.
It was nice to have everyone relax once we got vaccination up to speed, but it’s pretty clear we have to tighten back up.
Allowing people to drop the mask in areas covered by the pass was a nice incentive to get the jab, but it’s not something we really can afford anymore now that the fifth wave is coming so strong.
Yes we have much much fewer deaths now that we’re vaccinated, but we still lost over 6000 lives during the last wave, and overall we’re not quite done with this pandemic.
