Has it been announced yet which base in Poland will be the permanent US/NATO base there? I can’t imagine they’d build an entirely new one, that would be so costly and take forever…
It is necessary, there is a war raging next door and very unstable situation.
It’s also a pittance compared to the cost rebuilding cities and countries and there are many things you can’t rebuild, like all the lives lost.
The price of freedom is eternal vigilance after all.
Yes it would be better if we lived in a world where you don’t have to go to these measures to protect yourself but, well, never again.
