I’m not really an expert but what’s the play here with him saying not guilty when there’s huge swathes of concrete evidence against him?
This is wild. Dodgy soldiers somehow managed to get a person who they believed to be an illegal arms buyer _onto a military base, and almost into an armoury_, had the undercover officer not decided against it
(the police officer is being referred to as “D” in this case)
> But asked by prosecutor Duncan Atkinson QC if he took Graham up on an offer to view rifles in the armoury, D said: “No. I decided that was a bad idea.
>”It was a challenge to go into the Army base, but to go into the armoury with live weapons with whom I perceived to be a serious criminal was not a risk I was willing to take.”
Christ, the RSM of the Coldstream guards? I wonder if he’d been raiding the amnesty bush…
So not only was he a serving soldier but also a fucking RSM?!
I bet the undercover would have entered if eco warrior chica invited him – and never leave.
Why is this surprising? Odd how people assume uniforms are incorruptible. Very surprised this doesn’t happen more often especially with the pay they receive.
