This government is going the way of a Carry On film, but without the laughs. Johnson has to go.
Anyone still there is out for themselves and doesn’t matter what they say they fully back bozo and his gang of rapists
In the end, it was a Pinscher that took down the Big Dog

Worst PM in history. Got a special bottle of wine ready for when he finally fucks off.

>Atmosphere today in Westminster somehow feels worse than before the confidence vote. Mood much darker. One MP says they had been content to wait for rule change till the autumn but now want it done before recess. Very very different tone.

>Feels very febrile at the moment. Lots of intense conversations going on in Tory circles – “political” meetings of ministers and advisors in departments without officials, rumours that people might act. Been here before but a good deal of uncertainty after a bad day for Johnson

>Amazing speaking to Conservative MPs (inc payroll) today how widespread the assumption is that the PM won’t make it to the next election. There are disagreements on the mechanism and the timing. But there are not a lot who think they will fight another election under Johnson

>Wow!! Ex-minister Nick Gibb suggests that, as in the US, “you worry whether democracy is safe”…..as he calls the Cabinet to bring down the PM

>“We have to make sure that doesn’t happen in this country. We have to get rid of the rot in our political system” – tells R4

Any else surprised that it’s Pincher causing such a ruckus? I feel like worse things have happened with the Tories
Those by-election results seemed to have spooked the Tories now. They know that another by-election could result in another whitewash and that would set a tone for the next election under Johnson. The amount of damage limitation needed will be huge and they might now wish they got rid of Johnson when they had the chance the other week.

Gives a pretty broad hint that Therese Coffey might resign soon.
She certainly looks upset, even among the collection of glum faces on show, in [the bleak video](https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1544245467986419712/pu/vid/1282×720/1fz1XzlZAoEubMxe.mp4) from this morning’s cabinet [posted on twitter](https://twitter.com/BestForBritain/status/1544245691215757312) earlier today.
